Attention Aloha Warriors, Class of 2030!
Aloha Summer School is excited to be offering the 8.5 Experience for YOU, our incoming Freshman Class.
What is 8.5? This is a program designed to introduce incoming 9th graders to Aloha High School in an interactive and engaging way. Participants will have the chance to make connections with other students , meet our staff, build friendships, and participate in a range of engaging and fun activities. This is a rich and meaningful program for our students that gives them a running start to the high school experience at Aloha.
We encourage any and all 9th graders to attend. There are two options for attendance. Please select one OR the other. Students are required to attend all days in their selected session.
Upon completion of 8.5, students will earn a .5 elective credit.
Program Details:
When: There are two sessions offered this year:
Session #1: June 22 - July 2
OR
Session #2: July 6 - July 16
- Monday - Thursday (no class on Fridays)
- 8:30 am-2:00pm
- Students may only attend one session.
Cost: Free!
Where? Aloha will be under construction this summer. Summer school will take place at ISB, International School of Beaverton. Transportation will be provided for all eligible students.

Welcome to the 2026 Summer C.R.E.D.(it) experience at Aloha High School. We are excited to Create, Reconnect, Engage, and Discover with our students this summer! Aloha C.R.E.D.(it) offers credit earning opportunities (credit recovery) for students who are not on track to graduate. To be eligible, students must have earned an N or an I in a course.
Dates:
Monday - Thursday
June 22 - July 16 (No school July 3)
8:30 am-2:00 pm
Schedule:
Period 1: 8:30 - 10:05
Break: 10:05 - 10:15
Period 2: 10:15 - 11:50
Lunch: 11:50 - 12:20
Period 3: 12:25 - 2:00
(subject to change)
Attendance: Attendance is mandatory for students to earn credit.
Credits: Students can earn .5 credit per period. If attending all classes, they can earn up to 1.5 credits.
Cost: Free

Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de establecer vínculos con otros estudiantes, conocer a nuestro personal, forjar amistades y participar en una variedad de actividades divertidas y estimulantes. Este es un programa enriquecedor y significativo para nuestros estudiantes, que les brinda una excelente ventaja para su experiencia en la Escuela Preparatoria Aloha.
Animamos a todos y cada uno de los estudiantes entrantes al 9no grado a asistir. Hay dos opciones de asistencia. Por favor, seleccione una U otra. Es obligatorio que los estudiantes asistan todos los días de la sesión que hayan seleccionado.
Al terminar 8.5, los estudiantes obtendrán .5 crédito electivo.

¿Dónde? La Escuela Preparatoria Aloha estará bajo construcción durante el verano. Las clases de verano serán en ISB, Escuela Internacional de Beaverton. Transporte se proveerá a todos los estudiantes elegibles.
