GRADUATION CLASS OF 2019

COMMENCEMENT DETAILS

June 8, 2019​ - 6:00 PM - Graduation Ceremony - At the University of Portland (Chiles Center) at 5000 N. Willamette Blvd., Portland, OR, 97203-5798

Graduates arrive at 4:45 PM

MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsal on June 7 at 7:45 AM

Graduation Eligibility
To participate in the 2019 Commencement Ceremony all graduation requirements must be met. Per district policy, students must earn a minimum of 24 cr​edits to graduate. All textbooks and supplies must be turned in and all fees and fines cleared. Any student with outstanding fees and/or fines cannot participate in Commencement ceremonies and will have their diploma withheld until full payment has been made.

ADDITIONAL SENIOR ACTIVITIES AND DEADLINES

April 19 - Graduation Speaker Auditions - During AT. Pick up an application in the Counseling Office, beginning March 21st and due on April 11th.

May 1 to 26 - Complete CCC Exit Survey - Let us know what you are doing after AHS. This survey can be found at https://tinyurl.com/2019AHSsurvey

May 21 to June 6 - Senior Checkout - Checkout forms available in Counseling Office.

May 21 - Graduation Tickets Available - Upon checkout completion, each graduate will receive eight tickets to the ceremony.  More tickets can be requested.

May 31 - Last Day To Turn In Proof Of Outside Credit - From online and other outside programs.

May 31 - Senior Final Period 7

June 3 - Senior Final Periods 6 and 8

June 4 - Senior Final Periods 3 and 5

June 5 - Senior Final Period 4

June 6 - Senior Final Period 1

June 6 - 7:00 PM - Senior Awards Night - In the AHS Auditorium.

June 7 - Seniors Last Day

June 7 - 6:30 AM - Senior Breakfast - Our staff serves breakfast for our seniors, which precedes the graduation rehearsal. We encourage students to "dress up" as this is a classy affair.

June 7 - 7:45 AM - MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsal - In the Auditorium (required in order to participate in graduation ceremony).

June 7 - 10:00 AM - Senior Assembly - In the AHS Gymnasium. The Class of 2019 is honored and many awards and scholarships are acknowledged. Families are welcome and should check in at the main office.

June 8 - 4:45 PM - Graduates Arrive At University Of Portland Chiles Center

June 8 - 6:00 PM - Graduation Ceremony Begins At Chiles Center

June 8 - Class Of 2019 Graduation Party (Sponsored By AHS Parents) - See our Facebook Page for grad party information and fundraising events.

Senior Grad Party at Kingpins

Date: Saturday, June 8th directly after the graduation ceremony.
Cost: $40/student. We accept cash, card, and check made to Aloha High School Booster Club.

Meet at the school for check in at 10:30pm.
Busses will leave for Kingpins at 11pm. Students will be there until 4am and return back to the school on the bus. 
There will be bowling, Virtual Reality, Laser Tag, games, food, a Selfie Station, and back by popular demand, Dan Hendricks the Hypnotist.

Waivers, Guidelines, and tickets will be available at the Ticket Table during lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting March 18th. Waivers need to have student and parent signatures before a ticket can be purchased.

Cap and Gown

If you’ve already placed your graduation order for your senior, thank you. Delivery will be made later this spring and you will be notified of the specific date prior to Jostens' visit. If you have not yet placed your order it is not too late. Here are your options:

  • ​Please visit the Jostens website at www.Jostens.com/contact where you can place your order and get additional support and service.
  • Call our Service Center toll-free at 1-800-JOSTENS (567-8367).  Both English and Spanish speaking Graduation Specialists are waiting to help you.
  • Request paper order forms that you can complete and send directly to our Service Center.  Email your request to dan.peters.office@jostens.com.​
